Silicone butt plugs changed my life.
The Tantus Perfect Plug Kit is billed as a “great way to start your anal exploration.” I agree that it’s a nice beginner’s kit, but…perfect? The product name is just too exaggerated to not get a *ding ding ding* out of my bullshit-o-meter.
This plug is fantastic, it’s a good size that you can feel it but it still remains comfortable. The vibrator can be used and is easy controlled. The material feels great and the shape allows for easy insertion.
I’m not sure why, but I never really enjoyed the feeling of silicon plugs, I think it may be weight that I like.
I have a (silicone) Lovense Hush which I really love. I use a water-based gel lube from Lovehoney but it definitely dries out meaning I can't wear a plug all day without it getting difficult/painful to remove.
My solution was to lay on my back with my legs spread, then use both hands - one pushing gently and the other keeping the tip lined up with my anus. Went in no problem that way.
