Coy ("we", "us", "our"), a trading name of Bridge Media Limited, respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect your personal information in accordance with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 and its Information Privacy Principles. We understand that buying intimate products is personal, and we treat your information with discretion and care.

Information we collect

Order & contact details — your name, email, phone, delivery and billing address, and order history.
Payment information — processed securely by our payment provider (Shopify Payments). We receive confirmation of payment but do not store your full card number.
Account information — if you create an account, your login and saved preferences.
Usage & device data — cookies, IP address, browser/device information and how you use our site, collected via our platform and analytics tools.
Communications — messages you send us, including returns and support requests.

How we use your information

To process, package, ship and deliver your orders, and handle returns and refunds.
To take payment and prevent fraud, and to verify that purchasers are 18 or over.
To provide customer support and respond to your enquiries.
To operate, secure and improve our website.
To send you marketing only where you have opted in; you can unsubscribe at any time.
To meet our legal obligations.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only as needed to run our store, including with:

Shopify, which hosts our online store and processes orders on our behalf;
Shopify Payments and related payment processors, to take payment;
Our fulfilment and delivery partners — including the supplier/warehouse that packs and ships orders and the courier that delivers them — who receive the delivery details needed to get your order to you (in plain, discreet packaging);
Service providers such as analytics and email tools; and
Authorities, where we are required to by law.

Some of these providers may store or process data outside New Zealand. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled with comparable protections. We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, remember your cart, understand usage and (where permitted) support marketing. You can control cookies through your browser settings; some features may not work without them.

Security & retention

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access, and rely on the security of our platform and payment providers. We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law (for example, tax and consumer-law record-keeping).

Your rights

Under the Privacy Act 2020 you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you and to request correction of it. To do so, or to opt out of marketing, email support@coy.co.nz.
