Terms of service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Coy website and your purchase of products from us. Coy ("we", "us", "our") is a trading name of Bridge Media Limited, a company registered in New Zealand. By browsing this site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

1. You must be 18 or over (18+)

This is an adult store. Our products are intended for adults only. By using this site or placing an order you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, that it is lawful for you to view and purchase adult products where you live, and that any products are for your own personal, non-commercial use. We may refuse or cancel any order where we reasonably believe the purchaser is under 18. We do not knowingly sell to, or collect information from, anyone under 18.

2. Products, descriptions & availability

We do our best to describe and picture products accurately, but images and descriptions are for guidance only and actual items (including colours, packaging and accessories) may vary as manufacturers update them. Products are subject to availability and we may limit quantities, or withdraw a product, at any time. If an item is unavailable after you order, we'll contact you and offer a similar alternative or a refund for that item — we will never substitute a different product without your agreement. Some orders are shipped to you directly by our fulfilment partner rather than from a Coy address.

3. Prices & payment

All prices are in New Zealand dollars (NZD) and include GST where applicable. Prices may change at any time, but changes won't affect orders we've already accepted. Payment is processed securely through Shopify Payments (and any other payment methods shown at checkout). We do not store your full card details. Your order is an offer to buy; a contract is formed only when we send your dispatch/order confirmation. We may decline or cancel an order (for example, where an item is out of stock, a pricing error has occurred, or we cannot verify age or payment), and if we do, we'll refund any payment for that order.

4. Shipping & returns

Delivery is covered by our Shipping & Delivery Policy, and returns and refunds by our Returns & Refunds Policy. Both form part of these Terms. Because we sell intimate and personal-care products, we cannot accept change-of-mind returns; faulty, damaged, wrong or misdescribed items are covered in full under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

5. Your consumer rights

Where you buy as a consumer, our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, and we will not mislead you contrary to the Fair Trading Act 1986. Nothing in these Terms limits those rights.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use this site unlawfully, to interfere with its operation or security, to attempt to access it if you are under 18, or to reproduce our content without permission. All content on this site (text, images, branding and the "Coy" name) is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by intellectual-property laws.

7. Our liability

To the extent permitted by law, and without limiting your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Adult products must be used sensibly and in accordance with any manufacturer instructions and safety guidance; you are responsible for using them safely.

8. Privacy

We handle your personal information in line with our Privacy Policy and the Privacy Act 2020.

9. Changes & governing law

We may update these Terms from time to time; the version on this page at the time you order applies to that order. These Terms are governed by New Zealand law and the New Zealand courts have jurisdiction.
