It's basically thick cling film, that's on a role about 6cm wide 5/10m long. It's also in a solid colour (normally black) not see through. It has no adhesive it just clings to its self.
Honestly I hated it. It got tight around my ankles and wrist if I moved too much. That cut into circulation. Not so much fun. It didn't stick to skin, only itself which made it move. It gets tangled easily. Overall I don't like it. It can be good for beginners though.
It's great, just have scissors really nearby. It can be though to get off, and you have to be careful when it comes to circulation.
Sex tape is just "non-adhesive dry vinyl tape" and I have seen it and bought it at Home Depot. It's way way way cheaper than at the sex store, but it's not always available.
