I really like this. The size and shape is just right for an initial stretch before using my bigger toys. Just make sure you are really clean.
The platinum line is indeed legit stuff. I've bought several and been quite pleased. I think they're comparable to my Tantus toys, and I wish they offered more.
Doc Johnson sells a lot of unsafe materials, but I don't think in the last 6 years I've been in the industry I've seen them lie about something being silicone. (They have "Sil-A-Gel," which is not silicone and intentionally misleading, but everything they clearly label silicone seems to be legit.)
I never have but I read that the rubber used in the dildos I have is porous and needs more than handwashing to get clean, like boiling or dishwasher. I switched to high grade silicone even though I had no trouble with the Doc Johnson toys.
