Yeah, soap and hot water are all you really need, just make sure to rinse it well. If you're really paranoid then there are specific sex toy cleaners out there, but you don't really need them. Don't use alcohol; jelly toys can be very sensitive to other chemicals.
Despite the primarily positive reviews (68% gave it 4 out of 5 stars), this plug was too small at the widest diameter of 1 1/2". I will definitely be looking for something quite a bit larger.
