It stunk to high heaven but back then I was naive and thought nothing of it. Whilst I never experienced any ill effects health wise (to my knowledge, anyway) - it soon discoloured, and held on to odours no matter how much I cleaned it. It soon melted in my toy box. I now know why.
The suction on this thing is great. Perfect size too. Not too big but not too small. Favorite new shower toy.
