I’d be worried about injury from a spiked paddle. That can be no joke.
My Mistress has a very threatening-looking, metal spiked paddle that looks like a medieval torture device. I’m far from a masochist, so I avoided it for months before eventually letting her use it on me, and actually it hurt a lot less than some of our other paddles. It just looks scary. Plus it leaves some lovely pinpricks all across my ass, which is fun 😅
I haven't tried spiky ones but rather had a small studded leather paddle used on me. I would say, while the smooth leather side is more "slappy" and stingy, the studded side maybe had a tad more weight to it and creates fun criss-cross patterns 🤭 but it's really not spiky, on the contrary, pressing and dragging that studded side against the sensitive areas almost feels like a massage.
If u ask me, holes are worse. Spikes will make a flat paddle less painful for me
