We bought this as many harnesses seen to only fit up to 46-48" waist/hips. My wife has a big booty and smaller waist. We're afraid some of the other options would have been smaller and intimidating. We had to cut the straps way down on this one. Mind you, it's not the quality of some, but I would call it a real good entry level.
I've actually purchased and used this harness and dildo with my girlfriend, and it's actually a very good kit for beginners. The dildo is small enough for a newbie like me to accommodate comfortably, and the harness (although a bit fiddly) held securely in place for her. And it's cheap!
My wife is also a bigger girl and she likes her Sportsheets corset style harness (plus size). Pretty inexpensive and has interchangeable rings. It is a good looking harness as well.
However, she was really fighting her harness and just really not feeling it. She got frustrated and it all ended before it even got started. She is plus-sized, mostly in her hips, thighs, and butt (think pear shaped). Currently we’re using a lower-end 4-point harness from Amazon that had good reviews for plus sized users, but she feels like the back padding doesn’t sit nearly high enough to be comfortable, and constantly fights the urge to pull it up like a pair of sagging jeans. It doesn’t make her feel comfortable or sexy at all.
It’s on the cheaper side but it’s what my wife is most comfortable in, the Sportsheets curvy noir does it for us
