I don't think PipeDream (the makers of the Icicle line) anneals their glass. Annealing is a way to make sure the toy is strong enough and won't break in your ass. :(
I wouldn't recommend a glass plug for an anal newbie. Glass is really hard (duh lol) and can feel very uncomfortable, especially if you're not used to having something in your ass.
