I had one very similar to that first link. It looks almost identical. Just a different brand name. It had a decent shock, but wasn’t overly painful.
The biggest problem was electrode location. It’s a fairly large tube in both length and diameter so unless you’re either on the large size or getting an erection, the contacts simply don’t hit you.
I tried the cellmate cage and I honestly could barely feel the socks even on the highest settings. Felt more like a light tingle than a shock.
The electrodes are triangular, with the tips close to either side of the meatus, so that's the only path available for current. As a consequence, it goes directly from nothing to stinging.
