Is there a brand that is of GREAT quality that doesn't cost $250 for a friggin' door knob? I love the idea of getting something that is of better build quality (good solid feel and longevity) that the standard schlage/kwikset home depot categories, but these prices are a bit crazy.
In general, go with commercial hardware if possible. The styles won't be as pretty but they're built to last.
