I’ve used a BM for ~3 years & made great gains so it is possible, but the 1st session I had when switching to a Pump with a Fitted Cylinder and Gauge; I literally face palmed myself thinking how much easier this process could have been had I started with this set up.
However, in the bathtub, everything just works and really well. The weight isn't an issue nor the size since it can sit atop of you. Plus, when the water squirts out as you're building pressure, it looks like you're having a massive ejaculation. It makes me chuckle a little.
My scrotum would constantly get caught in the pump, (due to the entrance being so large) unless I properly adjusted myself, which was an annoying problem I had to deal with.
I bought one recently last October, used it for almost 2 months now, and my gains have been great. Eq is better as well.
It's not that the bathmate isn't effective, it's just (IMO at least) way overpriced, uncomfortable, and potentially dangerous
Literally the greatest device I own is my bathmate hydro max 9. Whatever problems you've had with bathmate, skill issues. Your balls get sucked in constantly? Stuff like that should stop happening after the first month or so. There's a learning curve for sure.
